Salam I am Muaz, and I am from Syria. I studied Arabic and Islamic Studies at Leipzig University in Germany. Since 2020, I have been working as an Arabic language teacher at the Excellence Centre in Germany, specializing in the Levantine dialects. I implement various artistic and creative attitudes into the lessons, such as music, poetry, and storytelling. This helps give a better insight into Arabic culture and its effects on the language, which helped give a better understanding and perspective to Arabic. Working at the Excellence Center means working with people from all sorts of different countries, backgrounds, and mentalities. This gave me the opportunity to experiment with various creative teaching methods and approaches and learn how to curate the lessons better for the student’s way of learning.
I am very passionate about my native language and teaching it to those around me. I do my best to make my lessons personal and interactive, tailoring them to the individual student. Many have said I have a natural gift for teaching languages, and I do all that I can to share this with others.
